Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

We’re working with an independent, family-run MEP design consultancy based in South West London, with a tight-knit, chartered team of 8 engineers. They deliver a diverse range of projects across commercial offices, industrial, education, laboratories, retail, healthcare, and data centres throughout the UK, and have secured a number of major projects, which is fuelling their growth.

As part of ongoing growth, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take a key role in the design of projects from concept through to completion. This position will suit someone who enjoys variety, values work–life balance, and prefers a more local, collaborative environment outside of central London.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
• Lead and deliver mechanical designs independently on a variety of projects ensuring compliance with client briefs, regulations, and sustainability targets
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for HVAC and mechanical systems
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and wider design team on large-scale projects

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment, and a good understanding of HVAC systems, sustainability principles, and design standards. Candidates with client-facing experience and the ability to work independently on varied projects will be at an advantage.

Package:
• Salary up to £75K (DOE)
• Office-based role with flexibility where appropriate
