Pre-Construction Manager required

We’re representing a well-established M&E Contractor delivering high-quality Mechanical and Electrical installations across Commercial Offices, Education, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors throughout the UK.

As part of their continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Mechanically bias Pre-Construction Manager to lead the technical and mechanical elements of projects during the early design and costing stages.

The business already benefits from a strong Estimating department across both M&E disciplines, with a dedicated Electrical Estimating Manager in place and now seeks someone more mechanically focused to provide additional technical support and relieve the Directors at pre-construction stage.

This role will involve close collaboration with internal Estimating, Design, and Operations teams to ensure that every project is technically compliant, commercially viable, and ready for smooth transition into delivery.

£90,000 Base Salary

+ Package

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the mechanical design and costing process at pre-construction stage.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
• Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications for compliance and accuracy.
• Support the Estimating team in producing detailed, cost-effective mechanical solutions.
