True are partnering with a well-established mechanical services contractor delivering full mechanical installations across commercial, education, medical institutes, and industrial sectors. With a full order book for next year and continued growth across the West Midlands, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding team.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse range of projects from small reactive works through to full mechanical installations. Typical packages include HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, plant rooms, underfloor heating, ASHPs and GSHPs, with project values ranging from £10K to £2.5M.

You must be comfortable working across all types of environments from clean, modern office fit-outs to darker, industrial “shed” installations, which remain a core part of the business. With a large variety of live jobs at any one time, this role requires someone organised, adaptable and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Mechanical Project Manager Package:

  • £55,000 basic salary + Car allowance
  • Friday work-from-home option
  • National travel required (Midlands-based preferred)
  • Full pipeline secured for next year
  • Strong internal support structure & collaborative PM team

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience delivering full mechanical packages across a mix of commercial and industrial projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once from £1K reactive works to multi-million installations
  • Strong technical background ideally from the tools
  • Comfortable working in high-end and “shed” industrial environments
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task across varying project sizes
  • Confident managing subcontractors, engineers and site managers
  • Willingness to travel nationally where required

The Role:

  • Manage mechanical installations from pre-construction through to commissioning
  • Work closely with senior managers and report into the wider leadership team
  • Coordinate labour, supply chain, programme management and client communication
  • Run multiple fast-paced projects with varied size and complexity
  • Represent the company professionally across all client-facing interactions

If you’re a mechanically biased Project Manager who enjoys variety, autonomy and delivering across broad project scopes from small works to major installations then this is an excellent opportunity to join a steady, growing contractor with long-term stability and a supportive PM team.
