Mechanical Project Manager

True are partnering with a respected building services contractor known for delivering high-quality mechanical installations across commercial, residential, public sector, and leisure sectors. With a strong order book and further growth in the pipeline, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding team in the West Midlands.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of mechanical projects covering HVAC, plumbing, pipework, energy centres, ventilation (VRV systems), heating, and cooling. You’ll be responsible for managing delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning, overseeing subcontractors, procurement, and on-site coordination to ensure successful completion to the highest standards.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in mechanical project delivery who’s ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll report directly to the Operations Manager and play a key role in shaping the ongoing success of a growing, Midlands-based contractor.

Mechanical Project Manager Package:

• £60,000 basic salary (DOE)

We’re looking for someone with:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role

• Strong technical background across HVAC, pipework, plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems

• Experience managing full mechanical installations from design through to commissioning

• Confident managing subcontractors, budgets, and client relationships

• Experience delivering projects ranging from £10K–£10M in value

• Based in or around the West Midlands with flexibility to travel to site as required
