Mechanical Contracts Manager

With strong growth and a secure pipeline of mechanical works, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their expanding team.

With strong growth and a secure pipeline of mechanical works, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their expanding team.

As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of mechanical installations including piping systems, air source heat pumps, heating systems, LTHW/chilled water pipework, ventilation connections, and primary plant integration. Working across operational, live environments, you’ll oversee the programme, manage the supply chain, ensure technical compliance, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

We’re looking for a mechanically biased Contracts Manager who can take ownership of delivery, present well in client-facing situations, and work collaboratively with senior leadership, QS teams, and subcontractors.

 

Mechanical Contracts Manager Package:

  • £75,000–£80,000 basic salary (DOE)
  • £5,000 car allowance

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong mechanical background across pipework, ASHPs, mechanical plant, LTHW/chilled water
  • Experience managing mechanical refurbishment or upgrade projects
  • Ability to run programmes, manage supply chain partners, and control budgets
  • Confident in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on site while supporting wider project teams
  • Organised, well-presented, and able to handle both site and office duties
