Mechanical Commissioning | Quality Assurance Manager

True are partnering with a market-leading building services contractor delivering innovative, prefabricated energy solutions and turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres across the UK & Europe. With a strong pipeline of high-profile data centre projects, they’re now looking to appoint a Commissioning Manager or Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of the commissioning phase on complex MEP installations.

As Commissioning Manager, you’ll lead commissioning activities from design review through to final handover. This includes HVAC, electrical distribution, piping systems, and BMS integration, ensuring all systems meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. You’ll provide technical leadership on site, chair commissioning meetings, oversee QA/QC standards, and act as the client-facing lead throughout delivery. With projects spanning Europe, travel will be required.

We’re looking for an experienced commissioning professional with a strong technical background in MEP systems, proven delivery on mission-critical projects, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving quality and safety standards.

Commissioning Manager Package:

• £70,000 – £100,000 (DOE)

We’re looking for someone with:

• Mechanically biased
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• End-to-end commissioning experience on mission-critical projects (data centres preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, piping, and BMS systems
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
