True are partnering with a market-leading, low-carbon building services specialist, delivering innovative design, manufacturing and installation solutions across complex, high-value projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Building Services Manager to play a key role across both bid and delivery phases.

This is a high-impact, end-to-end role, sitting at the centre of pre-construction, design and operations. You’ll act as the single point of contact across pre-construction, leading mechanical input into bids, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery from day one.

From reviewing tender documentation and supporting bid strategy, through to advising design teams and supporting delivery on live projects, this role offers a rare blend of technical, commercial and operational influence.

Building Services Manager Package:

  • £85,000 Basic Salary
  • Long-term pipeline within a growing, forward-thinking business
  • Clear progression into senior leadership roles
  • Exposure to complex, high-value decarbonisation and M&E projects
  • Collaborative, high-performing team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical input across pre-construction and bid stages
  • Review tender documentation and support bid strategy and costing
  • Act as the main point of contact across pre-construction functions
  • Coordinate design input, ensuring solutions are practical and buildable
  • Advise design teams using hands-on installation knowledge
  • Support projects through to delivery, working alongside operations teams
  • Ensure technical scopes, costs and programme align from concept to site

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical background within M&E / building services contractors
  • Experience across pre-construction, design coordination or contracts/project management
  • Good understanding of costing, tendering and technical scopes
  • Ability to bridge the gap between design and installation
  • Hands-on knowledge of how systems are delivered on site
  • Confident communicator able to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Mechanically biased with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

This is a standout opportunity for someone looking to step into a broader, more influential role, shaping projects from concept through to delivery within a business driving innovation in building services and decarbonisation.
