BMS Sales Manager

With a long-standing presence across commercial and industrial building services, the business is now accelerating its BMS offering following the acquisition of a well-established European controls specialist. This is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in a growing and strategically important area of the business.

The BMS Sales Engineer will effectively lead the BMS function in the UK, working hand-in-hand with an established equipment sales team to deliver BMS solutions on larger HVAC-led projects. The focus is on securing a small number of high-value BMS packages each year, embedded within chiller, heat pump, and AHU projects.

This role is highly collaborative, combining customer-facing activity with strong internal support from engineering and a dedicated quotations function. You’ll play a key role in shaping how BMS is positioned, sold, and delivered as the business grows this division toward ambitious revenue targets.

The BMS Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the BMS offering within the UK business
  • Supporting equipment-led projects by securing associated BMS scopes
  • Working closely with existing sales engineers to deliver joined-up HVAC and BMS solutions
  • Engaging with customers on system architecture, protocols, and overall BMS strategy
  • Collaborating with internal engineering and quotations teams to deliver technically sound proposals

This role requires experience selling BMS, building automation or building controls solutions, with a solid understanding of systems, protocols, and integration. The successful candidate will be confident operating as a subject-matter lead, comfortable engaging with Contractors, Consultants and End Users, and happy working collaboratively rather than in isolation. Location-wise, candidates based around the South East are particularly well suited, with the core market focused on London.

The BMS Sales Engineer will receive: 

  • Up to £80,000 basic salary
