2101 – Junior – Mid Interior Architect

I’m really excited to be partnering with a fantastic international interior design studio on this Junior–Midweight Interior Architectural Designer opportunity.

Based in Miami Beach, the studio works across high-end residential projects in the US and internationally, and they’re now looking to add a talented designer to their team.

They work across high-end private residences and luxury projects internationally, and are looking for a technically strong designer who is keen to develop their skills across both design and technical delivery.

You’ll be working closely with senior members of the team, supporting projects from concept and design development through to technical drawings, construction and completion.

• Producing detailed 2D AutoCAD drawing packages
• Developing interior, architectural, joinery and millwork details
• Supporting Senior Designers across high-end residential projects
• Sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers, finishes and accessories
• Assisting with FF&E specifications and schedules
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers and fabricators
• Supporting CGI production with external visualisation companies
• Attending site visits and assisting with project delivery
• Helping to resolve design and technical issues throughout the project
• Managing multiple deadlines within a busy studio
• Some travel across the US and internationally will be required

• 2+ years’ experience within an architecture or interior design practice
• Experience across high-end residential and/or luxury hospitality
• Strong AutoCAD and technical detailing skills
• Experience with millwork packages
• Previous site experience
• Good understanding of materials, finishes and interiors
• Highly organised with good time management
• Someone who works well independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach

AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office & Excel are essential.

SketchUp and hand sketching would be a bonus.
