Principal Mechanical Design Engineer / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

True Consulting are representing a Multi-National Decarbonisation & Data-Centre specialist who support councils and developers win grants, design, develop & oversee installation of Low Carbon Energy Solutions for both new build & retrofit projects.

Ireland has become a hub for Decarbonisation, projects are of significant size sometimes £40M+ Mechanical packages. Our clients are working with the HSE & Education frameworks nationally, Designing & installing Low Carbon Heating & Cooling Systems to help buildings become more energy efficient and lower energy consumption.

They’re looking for a Principal, Lead or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee and detail design Plant Rooms, Energy Centres & HVAC for Public Sector focused buildings.

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Deliver RIBA Stage 4 & 5 mechanical designs suitable for construction and commissioning.

Produce coordinated HVAC, Plant-Room & Energy Centre Designs for healthcare & education sites

Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, healthcare guidance and Health Service Executive (HSE) standards.

Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and handover.

Attend site meetings and inspections as required.

Support with the growth of the Design team within Dublin

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Package:

€100,000 Base Salary
