1888 – Senior Interior Designer

A highly regarded New York City architecture and interior design studio, ranked among the AD100 and known for its boutique hospitality and luxury residential projects, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its hospitality team.

The ideal candidate will be conceptually strong, proactive, and confident leading design development on large-scale projects. They should have a strong background in interior architecture, including knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and consultant coordination. Extensive experience in FF&E selection, material specification, and client-facing presentations is essential.

In this role, the Senior Designer will lead concept development, including mood boards, sketches, and detailed design and construction drawings. They will oversee all stages of documentation, manage construction administration, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and source bespoke finishes, lighting, and furniture.
