1859 – Intermediate Interior Designer

The team is recognised for its thoughtful storytelling, layered materiality, and attention to detail, working across boutique hotels, restaurants, bars, and members’ clubs where concept and experience go hand in hand.

Our client is seeking an Interior Designer to support the delivery of distinctive hospitality projects from concept through to completion. This is a hands-on and creative role, offering the chance to contribute to design direction, develop ideas, and help bring engaging guest experiences to life within a collaborative team environment.

You will be involved in the interior design process across multiple stages, assisting in the development of concepts that respond to brand identity, guest journey, and operational requirements. The role includes space planning, material and finish selection, FF&E specification, and the creation of 3D visuals and presentation materials. You will also contribute to the production of construction drawings, including joinery and millwork details, helping ensure designs are delivered accurately and in line with the overall vision.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll collaborate with architects, lighting designers, and other consultants, while supporting communication with clients and attending site visits when required.
