1845 – Project Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a well-regarded design studio who is now looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee architectural and interior design projects from early concept stages through to completion. The position calls for a confident leader who can coordinate teams, navigate technical challenges, and ensure the original design vision is carried through every phase of delivery.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, studio-led environment and has a strong track record of successfully delivering complex architectural schemes.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience delivering high-end residential and/or design-led hospitality projects. They will be comfortable taking the lead across multidisciplinary teams, providing clear direction while fostering collaboration.

A strong attention to detail is essential, balanced with the ability to maintain oversight of the wider project and its objectives. Above all, they will demonstrate a genuine commitment to design quality and contribute positively to a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects through all phases: schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
• Serve as primary client contact, managing communication and expectations
• Coordinate consultants and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and project performance
• Ensure design integrity, technical accuracy, and code compliance
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and site coordination during construction
• Mentor junior team members and support studio-wide quality standards

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Proven experience managing projects through construction
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, and documentation
• Experience leading client meetings and consultant teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and standard architectural software
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Licensed Architect preferred
