1824 – Senior Interior Designer

This highly respected design and architecture studio is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in delivering high-end boutique hospitality projects, both in the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will bring a proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion, balancing creative vision with technical expertise.

Our client is seeking a highly organised, confident, and proactive individual to take on a pivotal role within the team. You will lead projects of varying scale, guide design teams, and ensure consistently high standards across all stages of delivery.

In this role, you will oversee multiple projects from initial concept through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Key responsibilities include project planning and resourcing, meeting deadlines, reducing revisions, and producing comprehensive drawing packages, bespoke joinery details, and compelling presentations in line with studio standards and RIBA stages.

You will also take full ownership of FF&E specification and procurement, including bespoke design development, budget management, and reviewing manufacturer documentation. A strong network of industry contacts, refined design sensibility, and the ability to quickly adapt to a contemporary, LA-inspired aesthetic are essential.

Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members, fostering their development while contributing to successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, a proven track record in delivering hotel projects across the UK and Europe, excellent technical skills, and a solid understanding of detailing, regulations, and industry-standard software.
