The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and balances technical expertise with creative problem-solving.
This role involves contributing to projects from concept design through construction administration, installation, and handover. The designer will:
– Guide project teams and develop construction documentation and detailed design solutions
– Coordinate with consultants, including MEP, structural, lighting, and landscape specialists
– Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement
– Present ideas internally and externally
– Maintain project logs and schedules
– Review work from junior designers and support day-to-day project coordination
Candidates should have a solid foundation in construction methods, the ability to produce technical documentation, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with project teams and members of the studio.
