1718 – Senior Interior Designer

This is an opportunity to join a New York–based design studio that creates hospitality spaces with real atmosphere, places people remember long after they leave. Known for their thoughtful storytelling, layered materials, and beautifully resolved details, the studio works across boutique hotels, restaurants, bars and members clubs where concept, expertise and experience are equally important.

Our client is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead standout hospitality projects from early concept through to opening day. This role is hands-on and creative, offering the chance to shape guest experiences, influence design direction, and bring ambitious ideas to life alongside a highly collaborative team.

You will lead the interior design process across all phases, developing concepts that respond to brand identity, guest flow, and operational needs. The role spans space planning, material and finish selection, custom FF&E, and the production of high-quality 3D visuals and presentations. You’ll oversee detailed construction documentation, including bespoke joinery and millwork, ensuring designs are delivered on budget, on schedule, and true to the original vision.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll mentor junior designers, work closely with architecture and lighting teams, and act as a key point of contact for clients. From presenting ideas to coordinating consultants and visiting site, you’ll play a central role in turning strong concepts into memorable hospitality spaces.
