1715 – Senior Interior Designer

A prestigious design and architecture firm in New York City is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with at least seven years of experience in luxury residential & boutique hospitality projects. The ideal candidate must be a dynamic design leader with a proven track record of successfully managing high-end projects both locally and internationally.

In this role, you will lead projects independently from concept through completion, overseeing multiple high-profile initiatives while serving as a key point of contact for clients. You will mentor junior designers, manage project teams, and ensure the delivery of world-class interiors that meet the firm’s exacting standards. Responsibilities include directing the full interior design process, from conceptual development and design strategy to detailed construction documentation and on-site implementation, while maintaining strong client relationships and providing guidance to team members on design execution and project management. You will manage budgets, timelines, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and vendors, while overseeing material selection, finishes, and bespoke joinery, as well as sourcing high-end FF&E.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects, with international exposure, and a strong ability to manage complex projects independently. A deep understanding of construction documentation, building codes, and high-quality interior detailing is essential, alongside expertise in materiality, fabrication processes, and integrating custom FF&E.
