With an expanding project portfolio, the firm is looking to strengthen its design team with a Senior Interior Architectural Designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment and is eager to grow professionally while contributing to high-profile projects.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will lead and contribute to all phases of projects, from conceptual design through construction completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing conceptual and schematic design proposals, including space planning, materials, and finishes.
  • Preparing design presentations, renderings, and boards for client review.
  • Producing construction documentation, including drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
  • Managing tender/bid documentation and supporting contractor procurement processes.
  • Overseeing Construction Administration, including site visits, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Providing creative solutions to complex design challenges, with strong attention to detail and practical site-based problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Interior Architect in a high-end residential, mixed use or hospitality environment.
  • Deep familiarity with NYC building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Strong Construction Administration experience, including contractor coordination and client communication.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
