1666 – Senior Architectural Designer & Project Manager

Our client, a highly acclaimed boutique design firm in New York City, is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer & Project Manager to lead high-end residential projects from concept through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for a design-driven professional who can balance creative vision with project execution.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead projects through all phases: concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

• Guide design direction, making critical decisions on aesthetics, materials, and detailing.

• Manage Revit models, drawing sets, and integration of consultant work.

• Oversee permitting, approvals, and compliance with NYC regulations.

• Coordinate contractors, fabricators, and consultants to ensure precise execution.

• Serve as primary client liaison, running meetings, presenting work, and documenting decisions.

• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards across multiple simultaneous projects.

What You Bring:

• Professional architecture degree with 6–10 years of experience, including senior-level leadership.

• Expertise in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Proven experience with NYC approvals, technical documentation, and high-end residential or adaptive-reuse projects.

• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
