A vibrant and well-established interior design studio at the forefront of the hospitality sector is seeking Senior Interior Designers to join their team on a full-time freelance basis, with interviews taking place immediately. With a portfolio spanning 130 operational hotels and over 300 restaurants and bars, and an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to high-profile hospitality environments within a renowned studio.
Candidates are required ASAP, and must bring a strong interior design skillset with the confidence to drive and translate concepts through to sketch development with ease.
The successful designers will take ownership of project deliverables, lead programmes and deadlines, issue clear briefs, and provide constructive feedback on reports. Acting as key points of contact for external consultants and suppliers, they will be expected to confidently push projects forward with minimal oversight while maintaining exceptional design quality and timely delivery.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong interior design background, with the ability to rapidly develop layout options. Experience in PA and bedroom packages is highly desirable. Excellent joinery drawing skills, confidence in workshop reviews, and a strong understanding of materials and supplier networks are essential. The ability to produce FF&E drawing packages is also highly advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential, alongside strong presentation and communication skills.
This is a five-day-a-week freelance role. Designers should be comfortable working from the studio at least two days per week, with flexibility to attend more frequently if desired. Candidates must have their own laptop and all required software and licenses.
