1508 – Senior Interior Designer – FF&E

A globally renowned architecture and interior design studio based in the heart of Manhattan, celebrated for its luxurious and distinctive residential projects, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their talented team.
In this role, you will lead the design, sourcing, and execution of all FF&E for a landmark historic estate renovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heritage or high-end residential projects, a refined command of materials and furnishings, and the ability to manage the FF&E process from concept through installation while maintaining the firm’s collaborative ethos.

Responsibilities include guiding FF&E design and researching, sourcing, and specifying furnishings, lighting, textiles, and finishes. You will develop mood boards, palettes, and presentations, oversee custom furniture design, prepare detailed schedules and specifications, and manage procurement, vendor coordination, and installation. Conducting site visits and collaborating with architects, artisans, and craftspeople will ensure historical integrity and cohesive design execution. Additionally, mentoring junior team members will foster a supportive, high-performing studio culture.

Candidates should have 8–10 years of professional experience, strong FF&E expertise, proficiency in AutoCAD and Studio Designer, excellent sourcing and vendor relationships, and a collaborative, adaptable management style.
