This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-end residential interiors that seamlessly blend timeless elegance with contemporary sensibility.
The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, technically proficient designer with a passion for luxury interiors and a thorough understanding of the full project lifecycle, from concept through completion. They should be highly skilled in design, organization, and technical execution, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential, along with familiarity with New York City’s design trade resources, showrooms, and vendors. Experience managing multiple projects, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and producing both presentation and construction documentation is required.
Responsibilities include assisting the Principals in all phases of design development, including space planning, material and FF&E specification, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, craftsmanship, and design integrity. The role also involves attending site visits, supporting construction administration, and ensuring project quality through completion. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be available to travel to project sites across the New York metropolitan area.
