We are thrilled to partner with a leading New York architecture and design firm, known for designing both modern and traditional private residences that combine striking forms, careful detailing, and a thoughtful use of space and light. Their work seamlessly blends contemporary design with timeless influences, resulting in spaces that are highly personal and uniquely tailored to each client.

Our client is seeking Senior Architects to lead all phases of the architectural process, working closely with firm leadership to ensure excellence from design inception through construction completion. The role involves producing and reviewing architectural drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with codes, project requirements, and permits. Senior Architects will coordinate tasks across multiple projects, both internally and with external partners, while maintaining clear communication with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Attendance at jobsite meetings, issuing supplemental instructions, and responding to requests for information are also integral to the role.

In addition, the Senior Architect will act as a representative of the firm to clients, delivering presentations and contributing to marketing initiatives. They will take ownership of the production and review of architectural deliverables, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and the firm’s high-quality standards. Success in this role requires proactive problem-solving, facilitating decision-making, and balancing independent work with effective collaboration across colleagues and external stakeholders.

Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of professional experience, with extensive work on high-end residential projects; experience in New York and the Hamptons is considered a strong asset. Familiarity with New York City building codes is preferred. The ideal candidate is a design-driven professional with exceptional production skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for collaborative, solution-oriented work across multiple projects.
