One of our top clients is seeking to appoint an Associate Director to join their London studio, offering a rare opportunity to become part of a world-renowned design house celebrated for its outstanding residential and hospitality projects across the globe. This is a pivotal role for a confident and visionary designer with a refined eye, capable of shaping and leading projects from concept through to completion while also cultivating new business and managing private client relationships.
While a breadth of design experience is valued, the role will have a strong focus on interior design and FF&E, demanding both creativity and precision alongside expert market knowledge. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of eight years of professional experience, with proven expertise in high-end residential and hospitality design. Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of furniture, materials, suppliers, and price points are essential, as is proficiency in interior architecture, space planning, joinery, finishes, and the wider design and construction process.
As a client-facing leader, the Associate Director will be expected to pitch for new business, secure high-value private commissions, and drive projects forward with a hands-on approach that reflects the studio’s reputation for design excellence. The role also requires the ability to work collaboratively, motivate teams, and inspire confidence across every stage of the design journey, from inception through to delivery.
In return, they offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and clear opportunities for career progression within a collaborative and inspiring work environment. If you are eager to make a lasting impact in the world of luxury interior design and contribute to the success of a global design leader, we would love to hear from you.
