The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in high-end hospitality interior design, with experience across hotel suites, food and beverage spaces, lobbies, and amenity areas. Experience in residential design is a plus, along with a background at prestigious design firms, proficiency in joinery and interior architectural detailing, and familiarity with bespoke furniture, lighting, and joinery fabricators.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the team to develop and refine project concepts through mood boards, reference boards, and preliminary 2D and 3D sketches. The role involves producing design documentation for all project phases, including plans, elevations, custom millwork and cabinetry details, and schedules for finishes, hardware, and bathroom fixtures. Additionally, the candidate will oversee construction administration tasks, such as reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, coordinating with consultants, and assisting with procurement, pricing, sourcing, and lead times for furniture, millwork, and finishes to support project execution.
